School of Eighty Flights

My journey learning about money began 30,000 feet above ground on my way to a school I had no clue existed. At 14-years-old, this would be the first of 80 flights during my final year of high school.
What’s funny is that I had already attended more than three schools before this: different world cities, hundreds of miles apart, all for different reasons. Now, I was heading to another adventure.
A school far away owed my family’s bookstore a bit of money. To finally settle what was owed, I was told to attend this school, flying back and forth each week. I became what I could only understand at that time to be: the debt exchange.
Little did I know that each plane ride would turn out to be an opportunity to engage in brief conversations with those sitting next to me. I mean CEOs on top of their game, celebrities who had all the fame. Business moguls and unassuming millionaires alike. Flying weekly with the wealthy often turned into a jet-pack of money lessons. My financial education came from a higher-than-high school 30,000 feet in the air. Eighty flights, eighteen minutes each over eight months.
My mind was OPEN. Open to learn about money, wealth, and life fulfillment that would prepare me for my Sesame season of life.
